Beijing, CHINA: Some of the 133 classic cars make their way from the foot of the Great Wall of China near Beijing 27 May 2007, at the start off the 100th anniversary of Peking to Paris Motor Challenge 2007, the first-ever trans-continental motor-marathon. The trip is expected to take a total of 35 days with the route being totally authentic, in terms of driving conditions and places visited, taking cars northwards through to the Great Wall of China, through the Gobi Desert into Outer Mongolia, crossing the Steppes and vast grassy plains of Asia, into Russia and southern Siberia and on to Mosco then it?s northwards to St. Petersburg, and on into Europe to Paris.
